CBS Detroit: Detroit vs Everybody celebrates 313 Day with exclusive capsule collection
Detroit vs Everybody, a renowned lifestyle brand and proud client of Love Publicity, was recently featured on CBS Detroit in celebration of 313 Day. Founder and CEO Tommy Walker and Shawn Williams discuss their exclusive, limited-edition capsule collection created to honor Detroit’s iconic neighborhoods and deep-rooted pride.
Love Publicity secured the opportunity for the Detroit-based brand to showcase the 313 Day drop and highlight the inspiration behind the city-specific apparel line, which included styles like “Southwest vs Everybody,” “Jefferson vs Everybody,” and “Seven Mile vs Everybody.”
“I like to think of this one as taking a trip deeper into the heart of the city of Detroit,” said Walker. “And just allowing the people of these different neighborhoods the opportunity to show their pride—just like they can with the original Detroit vs Everybody.”
The collection was available for a limited time online at www.detroitvseverybody.com. Walker and Williams noted the popularity of designs representing Seven Mile, Westside, and Mack, reflecting Detroiters’ strong neighborhood loyalty.
“This brand was born out of a desire to shift the narrative around Detroit,” Walker added. “What started as a mission to promote the creative energy here has grown into a movement.”
