Three weeks before the main event, Salita promotions contacted Love Publicity to spearhead the media campaign for Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Claressa Shields boxing event as she was to be the first woman to headline a match on a premium channel (Showtime) in Detroit.

Love Publicity used PR Tool No. 1 and did an extensive amount of research on the history of boxing as well its ties to Detroit to effectively execute a strategic PR message in the Detroit market. Knowing that the buzz of this historic fight could grow beyond the local market, national sports and urban campaigns about the fight were pitched as well.
