Opportunity

Just 22 days before the Detroit stop on the Ladies That Lead Tour, the Boss Network contacted Love Publicity to provide complimentary media relations and event support. The tour, which was presented by Prudential, featured Grammy Award-winning singer Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child. Love Publicity worked to secure top-tier press, blog posts by influencers and event staff during the event’s stop in Detroit.

Strategy

Love Publicity’s team pulled off a seamless Detroit press tour stop and provided event support. We tapped into our trusted database to snag some of the top talent to be a part of the event. We compiled a targeted media list to attack some of Detroit’s top press, bloggers and influencers inviting them to the event and offering pre-press interviews.

Results

Love Publicity’s team secured a full press run the day of the event, including on “Mason & CoCo in the Morning!” on 105.9 KISS-FM, WDIV-TV (Local 4) and Fox 2 News. The following outlets provided media event coverage: Michigan Chronicle, BLAC Detroit Magazine, Talking with NaNa Radio Show, Wake Up Detroit Magazine, What’s Up Detroit, Sheen Magazine, 8storysocial.com and On the Go with Tiffany Patton.
